- Build and establish a nationwide distribution network for 10 Minute School Publications.
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, bookstores, libraries, and institutional partners.
- Develop territory-wise distribution strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Design campaigns to attract librarians, teachers & students
- Utilize existing industry relationships to accelerate market entry and expansion.
- Open new sales channels and identify growth opportunities across different regions.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with distributors and channel partners.
- Design and implement the overall distribution and sales process.
- Develop reporting structures, sales workflows, and operating procedures.
- Recommend sales targets, incentive structures, and territory management practices.
- Participate in hiring and developing the field sales team, including Sales
- Representatives and Territory Officers.
- Train and guide team members on distribution best practices and channel management.
- Build a high-performance distribution culture from the beginning.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and distribution opportunities.
- Feedback from retailers, libraries, and distributors to support product and business decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in book publication, distribution, FMCG distribution, or a similar channel sales environment.
- Proven experience working with bookstores, libraries, distributors, wholesalers, or educational institutions.
- Strong network within Bangladesh's publication and book distribution ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale distribution operations.
- Experience leading field sales teams is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh.
- Experience working with publishing houses, educational publishers, or large-scale distribution businesses.
- Existing relationships with major book retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers.
- Experience launching new territories, channels, or distribution operations.
