Role Overview

10 Minute School is on the lookout for an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic Finance team! If you’re passionate about numbers, compliance, and driving financial excellence, this is your chance to make an impact. This role supports asset procurement, financial statement preparation, and serves as a Finance Business Partner for the Growth & Expansion team.

Salary: BDT 60,000 - BDT 85,000 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Hours: 40 hours/ week (5 Days/week) Probation: 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly Financial Statements (Cash Flow, Income Statement & Balance Sheet) for 10MS LC Limited.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, RJSC requirements, and other statutory obligations.

- Develop effective tax planning strategies to optimise tax liabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Oversee and process all operational, administrative, and employee disbursements, including TA/DA, arrears/refunds, and budget allocations—on a scheduled bi-weekly basis.

- Prepare, monitor, and report on consolidated budgets, variance analyses, and monthly financial/MIS packages for investors.

- Coordinate statutory, internal, external, tax, VAT, compliance, and special management audits.

Qualifications

- BBA/MBA or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting (CA/CACC qualification is preferred.)

- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in startup finance.

- A good knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks would be a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and analytical ability.

- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
